Soy Sage Umami Broth

This herbal tea broth is soooo good and simple. I crave this umami broth in these wintery months when I am feeling under the weather...or when I am not ;) We served this recently at a November Holiday market and it was a hit, especially those savory/salt heads. INSTRUCTIONS Brew your regular cup of the Sage tea blend with 1 tablespoon of tea to 1 cup of water. Steep for 8 minutes and strain. Add a teaspoon of soy sauce or miso.

We recently went to NYC to visit friends and family, and our good friends took us to a bunch of killer Malaysian restaurants in Chinatown. I was inspired by our visit to make a twist on the classic Malay Coconut rice and infused the rice with The Creator tea blend, which highlights lemongrass, ginger, coriander, coconut, fireweed, and mint.
